Nominations are open for the Broadcast categories in Intent Media's Pro Sound Awards, jointly backed by TVBEurope's sister publications PSNEurope, Audio Pro International, Audio Media and Installation, and supported by MI Pro and Music Week.
The lobbying stage closes on 31 May. You may nominate a colleague, or yourself, for any of the following:
Broadcast Audio:
Team of the Year
Broadcast Event of the Year
Facility of the Year
All nominations should apply to events from 9 September 2012 until the lobbying period closes on 31 May.
Send a pitch of up to 300 words, explaining why your nominee deserves to be considered for the award (specifying the award category), to prosoundawards@intentmedia.co.uk.
Provide as much factual information as possible data and evidence of notable successes are invaluable. Up to three hotlinks to relevant material online can also be provided.
Based on the email nominations, the Pro Sound Awards team will create a list of finalists for each category. This process involves looking at the performance of those nominated companies over the past year, plus the information provided by the lobbying emails.
A shortlist of finalists for each category will be presented to a large panel of judges from across the spectrum of the pro-audio industry. These judges ultimately will choose the winners of each Pro Sound Award (with the exception of the Grand Prix and Lifetime Achievement these will be chosen by the Pro Sound Awards team).
Industry support for the Pro Sound Awards which will take place at the Ministry of Sound in London on 19 September is growing steadily. Sennheiser and DiGiCo are the headline sponsors, while Martin Audio is sponsoring the drinks reception at the start of the evening. Following the presentation of the awards, there will be an exclusive After Party, sponsored by Fineline Media Finance. Book your early bird ticket now for just £30.
