SINTONIA PREMIERES AUG. 9 ON NETFLIX

S o Paulo, June 27th, 2019 - Netflix revealed today the key art, first images, and the release date of Sintonia, which is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix on August 9th, 2019.

The image pays homage to the funk, the musical genre that inspires and moves the young paulistanos' living in the city much like the leading characters we see in the artwork: Nando (Christian Malheiros), Doni (MC Jottap ), and Rita (Bruna Mascarenhas), showcasing how music and friendship are essential in their lives.

An original series produced by Losbragas for Netflix, Sintonia will feature six 40-minute episodes in its first season. The series was created by Kondzilla, Guilherme Quintella, and Felipe Braga, and written by Guilherme Quintella, Duda Almeida, and Thays Berbe with Pedro Furtado as the head-writer.

The producers are Rita Moraes, Felipe Braga, and Alice Braga. Felipe Braga also serves as the creative executive-producer. Directed by Johnny Ara jo and Kondzilla.

Sintonia joins the slate of Netflix originals series produced in Brazil, including 3%, O Mecanismo, Samantha!, Super Drags, Coisa Mais Linda, and the upcoming The Chosen One, Invisible Cities, Nobody's Looking, Brotherhood, Omniscient, Spectros, Futebol, Reality Z, and the recently announced Boca a Boca.
