dock0 appoints Emma Riley as Head of Busine Development

dock10, the MediaCityUK-based media services provider, has appointed Emma Riley as Head of Business Development as the facility continues to expand.

Emma joins from Sunset & Vine where she held the position of Head of Production Technology and brings her 10 years of production experience at companies such as Mentorn, ITV, BBC and RDF to the Manchester based company.

Ian Munford, Commercial Director, dock10 comments Emma comes to the team with a fantastic track record of delivering innovative digital media services to the media market. She is well known in the industry for her detailed knowledge of the production process and insight into new ways of working that really matter to programme makers. Emma is a great addition to the management team here at dock10 and we are excited that she will be bringing her knowledge and experience to the team as head of business development.

Emma has worked on some very high profile projects, including sporting events and the successful BT Sports channel contract with specific focus on technology and finding new workflows to maximise content output. She has also spoken at various industry events on the production process and is a member

of the PMA and DPP. Joining dock10 on September 2nd 2013, Emma will be based at MediaCityUk and will be taking dock10s new propositions to market.
