Company's VP Government and International to Address How Broadcasters Can Operationalize Advanced Emergency Information for NextGen TV

Dr. Czarnecki will join broadcast industry innovators on the panel Progress on Advanced Emergency Information to explore how modern public safety messaging is driving a powerful renaissance in audience engagement. The session will highlight the convergence of ATSC 3.0 Advanced Emergency Information (AEI) which scales seamlessly from hyper-local, targeted notifications to sweeping, community-wide alerts. By delivering rich, interactive, and hyper-relevant content to both traditional screens and connected devices, AEI transforms television into an indispensable lifeline, giving cord-cutters and modern viewers a compelling reason to tune back into free over-the-air (OTA) broadcasting. Czarnecki will detail how Digital Alert Systems' DASDEC platform anchors this unified ecosystem, streamlining intelligent workflows that enable broadcasters to operationalize NextGen TV communications and reclaim their role as the ultimate, trusted community hub. The panel is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, at 3:30 p.m.

ATSC 3.0 is a convergence platform, and Advanced Emergency Information is where that convergence matters most for public safety, said Czarnecki. He serves on the ATSC Board of Directors, chairs the ATSC Advanced Emergency Information Implementation Team, and is a member of the FEMA Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) Working Group and the Canadian Alert Technical Working Group (ATWG). With more than 25 years of experience spanning the broadcast, cable, mobile, satellite, and professional services sectors, he has advised U.S., Canadian, and international bodies on alerting policy, technology, and implementation.
