EMG/Gravity Media has announced appointments to its new Executive Leadership Team, representing all countries and group functions. The announcement follows the recent news of the group's merger, creating one of the largest and most significant broadcast-technology and production companies in the world.
EMG/Gravity Media CEO Shaun Gregory: The collective vision [of the Executive Leadership Team] will be instrumental in steering EMG/Gravity Media through the exciting opportunities that are ahead following our merger.
The new team members are CFO Warwick Lynchas, Chief Transformation and M&A Officer St phane Vermersch, and Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer Sean Seamer. In addition, Peter Bates, Bart De Maeyer, and Bruno Gallais will serve as regional CEOs, leading EMG/Gravity Media teams in key territories. Along with Global CEO Shaun Gregory, the team will ensure continued delivery of a wide range of media services and solutions for global clients. The chief operations officer position has not yet been filled, the company says, and an executive search is currently under way.
We are thrilled to announce the appointment of such talent and expertise as part of our newly formed Executive Leadership Team, explains Gregory. Their knowledge of business transformation, finance, and strategy aligns seamlessly with our vision for the future, and this collective vision will be instrumental in steering EMG/Gravity Media through the exciting opportunities that are ahead following our merger.
As newly appointed CFO, Lynch assumes responsibility of financial strategy for the combined group. Previously CFO of Gravity Media, he will be responsible for managing financial activities, including planning and reporting, as well as capital management. The company says he plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability of the integrated business and championing sustainable growth.
In the role of chief transformation and M&A officer, Vermersch will lead EMG/Gravity Media through a period of dynamic change, overseeing strategic initiatives to drive operational efficiency, organizational agility, and innovation. Previously, he was CFO of EMG Group.
New Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer Seamer will be key to shaping the company's market presence and growth trajectory. His mandate includes driving commercial strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring alignment between business goals and market trends. He had been president of Gravity Media in the U.S.
Each region will have a dedicated CEO within the Executive Leadership Team, representing the respective countries based on common requirements and resources. Bates is interim regional CEO for the UK, U.S., Australia, and Middle East; De Maeyer, regional CEO for the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany; Gallais, regional CEO for France and Italy. All appointments are effective immediately.
