Stardraw.com appoints first UK reseller for Stardraw Control

Software developer Stardraw.com is pleased to announce the appointment of COMPUTERLINKS as the first UK reseller for their award-winning application, Stardraw Control. COMPUTERLINKS is a leading distributor of IT security and Internet technology solutions into several markets including the burgeoning sectors of multi-media networking and home automation. Furthermore, COMPUTERLINKS Stephen Burley has just become accredited as a Stardraw Control Certified Programmer, thus enabling the company to offer a full range of services based around Stardraw Control.

This gives us two angles to work from, explained Burley. Firstly, as a reseller, we can offer Stardraw Control as an off-the-shelf-application to our client-base of developers and systems contractors that they will deploy themselves. The second angle is a package that we have developed specifically for the home automation market called Computerlinks Home Automation system that uses Stardraw Control for the front end. It offers home users control of everything they are likely to want controlling in a home environment, such as heating, lighting, security and AV, in a pre-developed package that can then be tailored to their specific requirements.

What Stardraw Control offers us over competing solutions is flexibility, continued Burley. We can either offer it to contractors for them to implement on their own or, thanks to the CP accreditation, we can offer with a range of accompanying services. That could be writing just a single driver or several, or even designing the UI. Finally, we have been able to use Stardraw Control as a basis for our own home automation package. The reactions from our client base towards Stardraw Control as a control solution for future projects has been extraordinarily positive, especially when they realized that we were also able to offer programming services. It also happens to be extremely well priced so its an ideal product for the every day home user as well as larger, more complex professional installations.

COMPUTERLINKS will be hosting the next UK advanced training session for Stardraw control on September 26th 2007 at their company headquarters in Newbury.
