dB Broadcast Showing Bread of its Range at BVE05

dB Broadcast, the leading independent systems integrator and manufacturer, will be showcasing its widest range of products and services at BVE this year. dB's scope of work spans the full gamut from studio to transmission, a broader offering than other UK SI's. Examples range from Studios/Edit suites for the BBC to Transmission facilities for Arqiva.

dB invests in building excellent supplier relationships, critical to delivering complex modern broadcast systems.

Recent technology changes have meant that clients look for increasing support and consultancy when undertaking new systems. They want to take advantage of new technology for example, yet to manage the risks of performance and compatibility, in line with their current and future business strategy. By remaining vendor neutral, dB can provide this consultancy. Recent projects have been undertaken for a number of broadcasters that include: HD technology refresh, Access Services (File delivery workflow, DPP compliant), 4K production and the re-location of a major international broadcaster.

At the heart of dB Broadcast is design, build, commissioning, migration and support services for both traditional and new technology broadcast systems. Recent projects include a new state-of-the-art broadcast facility for British Forces Broadcasting and a number of single camera interview positions for the BBC.

On show at BVE will be Hawkeye modular monitoring systems, MERlin monitoring receivers, Cardinal intelligent mains distribution units and examples of the company's bespoke products.

The latest Cardinal iMDU is now capable of handling inrush currents of up to 200A at switch on and 60A per individually switched output. Both dual input and single input versions of the Cardinal iMDU now benefit from this improved design.

Representatives from the dB team will be on hand throughout the exhibition to discuss any system or product requirements.
