HIGH SEAS, A NETFLIX ORIGINAL SERIES, COMING IN 2019 TO MEMBERS GLOBALLY

Madrid, Spain, 1st October 2018 - Netflix, the worlds leading internet entertainment service, announces an original Spanish series High Seas, which will premiere globally in 2019.

High Seas, an eight-episode mystery-drama series set in the 1940s starts the rehearsals this week.

A magnificent transatlantic ship full of passengers, travelling from Europe to South America in search of a better future. Two sisters, Carolina (Alejandra Onieva) and Eva (Ivana Baquero), as different as they are inseparable. A handsome officer, Nicol s Sala (Jon Kortajarena), a man that fate has put in the wrong place. A mystery to be solved: the murder of a passenger whose name does not appear in the passenger list and who no one remembers. Love, intrigues and many lies in a ship that hides a story in each one of its cabins and a dark secret deep inside. There is only one clear thing: The murderer will not be able to leave the ship.

Created by Ram n Campos and Gema R. Neira and written by Ram n Campos, Gema R. Neira Daniel Mart n Serrano, Curro Novallas and Jos Antonio Valverde, the series will be directed by Carlos Sedes who will be also Executive Producer with Teresa Fern ndez-Vald s and Ram n Campos that continue their successful career as Executive Producers after acclaimed and successful shows Las chicas del cable ((just released its third season in Netflix) or Fari a.

Other characters include Jos Sacrist n as Uncle Pedro (Velvet, Tiempos de guerra), Eloy Azor n as Fernando (Apaches, La que se avecina, Gran Hotel), Felix Gomez as Anibal (Ella es tu padre, Carlos Rey Emperador), Tamar Novas as Sebasti n (Elisa y Marcela, Fari a), among others.

High Seas, the fourth Netflix fiction original series will release globally in 2019.
