LiveU Supporting Broadcast and Public Safety Operations for Summer of Soccer

LiveU is providing video transmission technology for broadcasters, production companies, and public safety agencies across North America's busy Summer of Soccer. The company is working with more than 100 local, state, and federal agencies for security and emergency management operations at the tournament.

LiveU's bonded cellular technology combines multiple cellular carriers, Wi-Fi, wired, and satellite connections into a single link. LiveU IQ (LIQ) uses AI to switch between carriers in real time, and LiveU Reliable Transport (LRT) maintains a stable, low-latency feed during network congestion. The company's LiveU Central platform gives broadcasters and security agencies access to video feeds from unmanned vehicles, drones, helicopters, and fixed cameras in a centralized multiview, with integration support for video management systems and real-time information centers.

LiveU has spent the past several years working alongside local, state and federal agencies, earning their trust in situations where lives are on the line. Now that work is playing out on the world's largest stage, says Gideon Gilboa, Chief Business Officer, LiveU.
