Like many hospitals in the UK, Sheffield Children's Hospital operates across a site that combines a Victorian main building with more modern structures that have been incorporated into the site over the years. Older sites can often prove challenging for modern healthcare equipment, and Sheffield Children's Hospital were looking for a mobile unit that could cope with their more difficult spaces and access routes.

"We find it very easy to move, it handles the many slopes we have around the Sheffield Childrens Hospital building with ease and its very small footprint makes positioning, even in small spaces, straightforward."

Patented image processing algorithms and ultra-sensitive D-EVO II detectors enabled Fujifilm to create a revolutionary design that is unique in mobile x-ray. The Virtual Grid and Dynamic Visualization II technologies ensure optimal image quality combined with excellent dose performance.

The lightweight D-EVO II detectors, which feature IPX6 waterproofing and Hydro Ag antibacterial coating, can be charged in the FPD lockable storage compartment.
