El operador portugu s ha escogido la tecnolog a de Appear Tv para el scrambling y multiplexado de sus se ales para sat lite. La instalaci n que entrar en actividad a finales de este a o, est siendo proyectada por Satcab, partner de Appear Tv en Zon Multimedia.
Jos Pascoal, director t cnico y de planificaci n de Zon, destaca que la flexibilidad y la alta densidad de la soluci n de codificaci n de Appear tv hace que sea una opci n ideal para nuestra infraestructura de transmisi n por sat lite mejorada. Ya utilizamos cabeceras Appear TV en nuestra red de RF, por lo que entendemos las ventajas de la filosof a del dise o modular de la compa a. Las soluciones de codificaci n y multiplexaci n de Appear Tv juegan un papel importante en la mejora de nuestras infraestructuras .
El proyecto es totalmente redundante (1+1) utilizando m dulos de encriptado y multiplexaci n de alta densidad. Los chasis est n ubicados en la cabecera principal de Zon. Cuatro entradas multiplexadas estad sticamente hacen ingesta a los m dulo de encriptado de Zon para sat lite con ofreciendo seguridad con el acceso condicional de Nagra Aladin tras el multiplexado y remultiplexado PSI/SI del flujo de transporte.
El m dulo de cifrado de Appear Tv es compatible con los principales sistemas de CA y soporta interfaz simulcript y scrambling de la mayor a de formatos de codificaci n incluyendo MPEG-2 y H.264 tanto en SD como en HD. El encriptador tiene una interfaz dedicada Ethernet hacia el servidor de CA, totalmente compatible con DVB Simulcrypt y permite codificaci n de hasta 850 Mbit/s y 250 servicios por chasis. El codificador se puede combinar con cualquiera de las entradas disponibles, desencriptado o m dulos de salida, lo que permite a los operadores gestionar los servicios desde la recepci n hasta el streaming con una sola interfaz de usuario.
