The Republican contest of Beltelecom drivers' professional skills was held in Minsk region 15.10.2014

The final round of the contest of Beltelecom drivers' professional skills took place on the basis of Nesvizhs and Kletsk telecom centers of Minsk Branch.

9 teams, representing all branches of the company, and the team of the transportation department of RUE Beltelecom participated in the competition.

During the first stage of the competition the drivers who showed a high level of professionalism were selected in the RUE Beltelecom branches and in the Main structural subdivision (transport section of Interconnections Department). During the final, second round the best drivers of RUE Beltelecom in team and individual classifications were determined.

Drivers having worked in the company for more than one year, observing labor discipline and road traffic regulations for more than 12 months were allowed to participate in the contest. In addition, an important condition - participants had not taking part in car accidents for the last 5 years.

Two types of cars were used for competitions - VAZ-21713 (a car) and GAZ-2705 (a lorry). In the final round, participants had to demonstrate the knowledge of the road traffic regulations, the equipment and vehicle maintenance, as well as to show faults detection skills, high-speed maneuvering and driving while performing specific against the clock.

Friends and colleagues backed the patricians up which gave them much confidence.

Stages of the competition on high-speed maneuvering, performance of car controlling elements, fast fault detection of the car have been the most exciting moments.

According to the results of the individual competition the top places were distributed as follows:

The first place went to the drivers Tripuzov Y.I. (Gomel Branch) and Ryabcev A.V. (Vitebsk Branch);

The second place went to the drivers of Mogilev Branch Bazylev A.A. and Shkredov A.N.;

The third places were taken by drivers Gomonovich L.L. (Grodno Branch) and Tretiak J.B. (Minsk Branch).

In the team competition the first place went to the team of Gomel Branch, the second place went to the team of Mogilev Branch, the third place to Minsk City Telephone Exchange Branch.

The winners were awarded with souvenirs, certificates and cups. Drivers who won prizes in the individual competition got additional monthly bonus for a period of 1 year. The team, which had won the first place, was awarded the Diploma and the Challenge Cup.

The contest is intended to attract drivers to participate in the promotion of road safety, to contribute to the continuous improvement of professional skills, to ensure safe conditions for their work.
