nd China-CEEC Expo to be held

The Ministry of Business held the press conference for the 2nd China-CEEC Investment and Trade Expo on the afternoon of June 1, releasing the related activity schedule for the expo. As is reported, the expo will be held from June 8 to 12 in Ningbo, sponsored by the Ministry of Business and Zhejiang Provincial Government. With the theme of "strengthening cooperation and achieving win-win result", the expo consists of 16 major events in the four blocks of investment negotiation, trade and exhibition, conference and forum, and cultural exchanges.

As a major city on the "one belt, one road" planning, Ningbo will be built as one of the top three destinations for the CEEC imports, the China-CEEC investment and cooperation, and the China-CEEC cultural exchanges, with its advantages of location, port and opening-up level. Since 2015 when the former CEEC Special Products Exhibition was upgraded as the China-CEEC Investment and Trade Expo, Ningbo has made great efforts to develop the platform for the economic and trade cooperation between China and the 16 CEEC countries. The expo hall and the permanent exhibition pavilions have been established to serve as a long-term exhibition platform for CEEC products, so are the online stores for the CEEC imports and the special franchise spots all over the country for the imports from the 14 CEEC countries.

In terms of trade exhibitions, there will be the CEEC specialty exhibition, China-CEEC high-tech cooperation exhibition, and the docking meeting for cross-border e-commerce and CEEC exhibitors. The investment negotiation activities include the 2nd China-CEEC Investment and Cooperation Fair and the 3rd China-CEEC Business Cooperation Meeting. The conference and forum block is made up of such activities as the China-CEEC investment promotion agency meeting, China-CEEC Mayor Forum, China-CEEC quality inspection cooperation and dialogue meeting, and the Ningbo summit of overseas Chinese businessmen in the CEEC countries. The cultural exchange activities will cover such fields as education, tourism, culture and sports.
