PlayBox will present new possibilities for its playback and streaming CloudAir platform at NAB The company will also display more than 40 new features for different modules of the Neo series in Las Vegas.
From face to NAB 2017, PlayBox Technology It will present seven improvements in broadcast platform and streaming cloud CloudAir as well as more than forty new tools for the Neo product suite. The manufacturer will show in Las Vegas how Neo and CloudAir can be adapted to any workflow, whether live, automated or both, on any scale, including transmission multi-channel in multiple languages and any combination of delivery platforms (terrestrial, satellite, cable or streaming cloud).
Don Ash, Chairman of PlayBox, has assured that "we listened to responding quickly and effectively to requests through integrators systems and clients directly. We have worked closely with our customers and partners worldwide systems integration to ensure that Neo and CloudAir meet the requirements of the users in the long run, not only at the time of purchase".
"Our customers can now upgrade their systems of reproduction Neo when and where want you, through a simple online download if your servers are at the height of the specifications and free if they sign an annual maintenance contract. This strategy is particularly appreciated in times of rapidly changing technical standards, now progressing faster than ever", Ash added.
The new features of CloudAir that is will demonstrate in NAB 2017 will include a transcoder capable of manage multiple containers of files and formats including MPEG PS / TS, MXF, QT, AVI, MP4, GXF, MPG2, H.264, ProRes, DNX HD and MJPEG. The interface with a view to the preparation of templates of the graph editor, an improved playlist editing, an advanced export playlists to EPG and an automated link of stored assets has also been improved.
Improvements in Neo
Improvements of the range of products based on Neo servers include extended control features, expanded capabilities of file handling, greater connectivity of input and output and compatibility with Microsoft Windows 10. All them have been implemented within an interface graphic intuitive family to those operators.
AirBox Neo admits UHD, HD and SD playback from a single server. It is designed for unattended operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and also it can be operated manually, including the ability to manage the performance live. New additions include the compatibility of drive inlet with HTTP (S), UDP, RTMP, MMS (H) and YouTube streaming output support for UDP, RTSP, and ATSC.
Generator graphics and characters on-air TitleBox Neo gains the ability to accept and export the contents of the database and spreadsheet in the CSV (comma separated values) format. Also added support for NewTek Tricaster NDI Protocol and a plug-in API for audio playback and capture cards / video Blackmagic DeckLink
Multichannel CaptureBox Neo capture server enhancements include a new entry transmission compatible with HTTPS, HTTP, UDP, RTMP, MMS, MMSH, and YouTube. CaptureBox Neo now also supports the format of file HEVC and the intake direct of the format of recording XAVC 4 K de Sony.
