Calrec Strengthens APAC Presence with Appointment of Anth...

Calrec has announced the appointment of Anthony Wilkins as International Sales Manager, APAC. With a successful career in Technical Sales, Business Development and Product Marketing spanning several years, Wilkins is well placed to further increase Calrec's presence in the region.

He has extensive experience across a wide range of technologies including music creation, broadcast, video, audio, consumer electronics and industrial test. A native of the North West of England, he has also lived and worked in Switzerland, Germany and the Republic of Ireland.

Wilkins commented, It's an honor to work for a company with such a customer-centric mindset. Calrec is experiencing unprecedented demand with the industry reaching a tipping point in its deployment of IP. My goal is to develop partnerships and sales strategies that help our clients stay ahead of the technology curve and leverage our IP offerings in a way that best suits their business. My in-depth knowledge of broadcast audio, video and success in combining a commercial and engineering mindset will help to further increase brand awareness.

Before joining Calrec, Wilkins held the role of Director, EMEA Sales at Focusrite Audio Engineering Ltd. where he managed and coordinated the company's EMEA pro-distribution partner activity; set and monitored sales targets; managed, mentored and coached EMEA pro-sales management team; and reported to the Board of Directors. Prior to that, he has held numerous sales and marketing positions at companies including J nger Audio, DTS, Sony and MultiBroadcast.
