Only 6 weeks left to get your entry in for a chance to direct Uma Thurman in the Jameson First Shot 2014 competition

Uma Thurman will take on the lead role in three shorts written & directed by up-and-coming filmmakers in 2014, following on from Creative Director Kevin Spacey's starring role in 2012 and Willem Dafoe's in 2013 -

With only 6 weeks left before entries close, the Jameson First Shot 2014 competition is heating up with 1 lucky winner from South Africa that will get the opportunity to produce their short script with an A-List Hollywood crew and starring the insatiable Uma Thurman. Your production will be supported by two-time Academy Award winning actor, Kevin Spacey in his role as Creative Director and Dana Brunetti, Academy Award nominated producer and President of Trigger Street Productions with his production team.

The entry rules are simple:

You must be at least 25 years old to enter

You must write your script based on ONE of the three themes; Legendary' OR Humorous' OR a Very Tall Tale'

Your script must be no longer than 7 pages on A4 paper in size 12 point Courier font

Do not depict anyone under 25 in your script

Do not show excessive violence or scenes of excessive drinking, use of weaponry, drink driving, drug taking or drug references

Your script should include a maximum of 7 cast

Scripts must be submitted in English

One entry per person - no writing teams - multiple submissions will be void

The success of the first two years of the competition has seen nearly 12 million people tune in to watch the winning films starring Kevin Spacey and Willem Dafoe on Jameson's YouTube channel. The 2014 competition aims to discover another three exceptional writer/directors from the same three countries as the previous years; South Africa, Russia and the USA.
