Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland and Phoenix, (AZ), USA - August 2, 2023 - NAGRA, a Kudelski Group (SIX:KUD.S) company and the worlds leading independent provider of content protection and multiscreen television solutions, today announced that Tiv Srl, the company which provides tiv sat, the Italian free-to-air satellite platform, has extended its technology partnership with NAGRA to include cardless security solutions. The move enables Tiv to extend its premium sports lineup with DAZN sports content, and gives DAZN the opportunity to expand its service footprint across the tiv sat satellite platform.
Available to Tiv Srl end-users with a set-top box or conditional access module (CAM), DAZN subscribers simply activate the service to watch a wide range of premium sport content delivered with a high quality of service. Commenting on the extended NAGRA relationship, Alberto Sigismondi, President of Tiv Srl said: We're excited to bring our end-users all of the action on the Zona DAZN channel from the start of the new football season. Our long-term relationship with NAGRA means we're able to bring this content to our end-users safe in the knowledge that it is secured by best-of-breed NAGRA cardless technology.
The new cardless solution, designed to secure premium content investments, will now supplement existing NAGRA smartcard solutions deployed at tiv sat.
