Bluey as Gaeilge starts on RT KIDSjr on Easter Monday

T Bluey ag teacht go RT ! Beginning on Monday 6 April 2026, Bluey will be available as Gaeilge on RT KIDSjr and RT Player. Children will be able to connect with the Irish language in a new way, learning new words through watching the global hit, Bluey. The series follows Bluey, a loveable, inexhaustible, Blue Heeler dog, who lives with her Mam, Dad and her little sister, Bingo. Bluey uses her limitless energy to play games that unfold in unpredictable and hilarious ways, bringing her family and the whole neighbourhood into her world of fun.

Twenty-six episodes from series one have been translated into Irish and episodes will be available to stream from Monday 6 April. And more episodes will be available as Gaeilge later this year.

The series has been voiced in Irish by Conamara actors Gr inne Bleasdale as Bluey, Laoise N Nuall in as little sister Bingo, Meadhbh N Eidhin as Mam, Chilli and P l Gr ofa as Dad, Bandit.

Following its debut in Australia in 2018, Bluey has gained millions of fans around the world and is now one of the most-watched animated TV series globally. The BAFTA and multi-Emmy Award-winning phenomenon airs in over 140 countries and is the #1 most-streamed show in the U.S. for both 2024 and 2025 (Nielsen). Bluey was the number one show kids show on RT Player in 2025 and continues to be in 2026. It also holds the number one spot as the top kids' show on both CBeebies and Disney in the UK.
