Telestream and Aspera allow capture and near real-time live video remote production IBM y Telestream dan a conocer una soluci n para la captura y producci n a alta velocidad, desde ubicaciones remotas, de v deo en directo con calidad televisiva y unos plazos de entrega de producci n m s cortos.
Para la producci n remota de v deo, ASPERA and Telestream han unido sus fuerzas en el desarrollo de Vantage con Lightspeed Live Capture, que basado en tecnolog a de la filial de IBM, permite realizar transmisiones en streaming de alta calidad a equipos de producci n remota para una edici n y producci n casi en tiempo real en redes IP est ndar.
Vantage combina la tecnolog a FASPStream de Aspera de transferencia de archivos a alta velocidad y la plataforma de procesamiento multimedia Lightspeed Live Capture de Telestream para que los equipos de producci n puedan trabajar con material transmitido por v deo en directo desde ubicaciones remotas casi en tiempo real.
Capturar y producir contenido para eventos en directo, tales como acontecimientos deportivos, noticias, sesiones de formaci n o programas educativos, plantea retos excepcionales, y realizar trabajos de producci n de forma remota y en tiempo real ha sido un objetivo inalcanzable desde hace mucho tiempo. Actualmente, las empresas de medios de comunicaci n tienen que utilizar costosas infraestructuras satelitales o basadas en fibra ptica e incurrir en gastos adicionales al desplazar al personal y los equipos de producci n hasta el propio evento. Las soluciones alternativas basadas en IP ofrecen una emisi n en streaming de baja calidad y alta latencia o bien son lentas y no pueden funcionar con contenido que todav a se est creando o capturando, haciendo necesario transferir los archivos completados en la red a trav s de carpetas activas. Esto puede reducir la calidad y provocar retrasos inaceptables en la emisi n de material en el que el factor tiempo es crucial.
Por otro lado, Lightspeed Live Capture y Vantage Open Workflows de Telestream, con tecnolog a de Aspera, ofrecen un innovador sistema para enviar streams de video con calidad televisiva desde el lugar correspondiente hasta el centro de producci n remota en directo, posibilitando flujos de trabajo que hasta ahora parec an imposibles. Los equipos creativos pueden ahora empezar a trabajar en una captura de material en directo enviada desde una ubicaci n remota (situada al otro lado del pa s o en cualquier lugar del mundo) mientras est teniendo lugar el evento, sin esperar a que todo el archivo se escriba primero en el disco y se transfiera posteriormente.
Los flujos de trabajo de transcodificaci n, paquetizaci n, edici n y otros flujos de trabajo descendentes pueden iniciarse de inmediato, acortando significativamente el ciclo de producci n y aumentando el valor del contenido producido. El punto de destino puede tener diferentes entornos de alojamiento, incluyendo instalaciones centralizadas y la nube privada o p blica, y los streams pueden enviarse a m ltiples ubicaciones de manera simult nea como ayuda a efectos de redundancia y para garantizar la continuidad del negocio.
Bajo protocolo FASP
FASPStream de Aspera representa la primera soluci n de transporte de v deo abierto con capacidad para retransmisi n en directo v a streaming de alta calidad a trav s de Internet por redes WAN. Desarrollado desde cero por Aspera, el software utiliza el protocolo FASP de datos en masa para transportar cualquier fuente de v deo en directo (multicast local, UDP unicast, TCP o fuente de archivo creciente) y posibilita la llegada a tiempo de v deo y datos en directo con independencia del tiempo de retardo de ida y vuelta de la red y de la p rdida de paquetes.
Se requiere un retardo de inicio de menos de cinco segundos para streams de v deo de 50 Mbps transportados con una latencia de ida y vuelta de m s de 250 milisegundos y una p rdida de paquetes del tres por ciento, suficiente para transmitir streams en 4K entre continentes. La tecnolog a FASPStream est estrechamente integrada en Vantage utilizando las APIs disponibles para ofrecer una perfecta experiencia al usuario.
