ANGACOM sets the stage for Televes in the data network integration market

Televes makes a very positive assessment of its participation in ANGACOM 2015, held between 9 and 11 June in Cologne (Germany). The fair had a record turnout, with exhibitors and visitors from 74 countries, which gives an idea of the true international character of this event, a must for the Broadband, Cable and Satellite sectors.

It was particurlary satisfying to witness the interest generated by the FiberData solutions for hybrid RfoG, GPON and CoaxData networks, developed to meet the needs of cable operators looking to extend fiber optic networks to the end users. In view of the response, the company obtains an excellent competitive position to address the data networking integration market, which has great prospects of development around the world.

Great compliments were also received with the new NevoSwitch range, whose performance and quality could be verified live. Fully developed and manufactured by Televes in its own facilities, NevoSwitch is comprised of multiswitches, taps, splitters and line amplifiers for IRS installations for either star or cascade topology. Quad compatible references available, they can be configured as stand alone, or powered by a receiver. Thanks to its ECO mode, the consumption decreases as the number of users is reduced.

The new encoders for the T.0X distribution head-ends, IPTV solutions for the Hospitality sectors and the full range of H series meters, first to incorporate digital processing in portable formats, were also protagonists featured in the exhibition of Televes in ANGACOM.
