It's well-known that the NAMM Show, held every January in Anaheim, CA, is the premier musical-instrument expo. However, tucked away in the North Hall of the Anaheim Convention Center, NAMM has also evolved into a top-notch audio show as well. New gear ranging from networked audio, mixers, and wireless mics to useful tools and accessories graced the show floor Jan. 21-25, according to a report compiled by Eric Eldredge, director, marketing and brand development, Dale Pro Audio.

The 2025 NAMM Show wrapped recently at Anaheim Convention Center.

Shure announced that its groundbreaking Axient Digital PSM in-ear systems with WMAS wireless technology are shipping. Also announced, a powerful quad-channel receiver for SLX-D wireless, available as the SLXD4Q+ (analog) or SLXDQDAN+ (Dante), packs flexible routing, cascading of two units, and more into 1RU.

Waves is shipping its new LV1 Classic mixer, which incorporates the power of LV1 and its live plugins into a single standalone solution.

Ashly drew attention with the AQZ32, a 16 16 Dante network matrix controllable from anywhere on the planet via AquaControl software.

Focal Professional showcased its monitoring expertise with the Utopia Main series. Two models are available as stereo bundles with included amplifiers.

Allen & Heath, responding to user feedback, delivers the power and features of the SQ series in a 4RU form factor with the SQ-Rack. It will ship in limited quantities this spring.

Ferrofish introduced the PULSE8 AE, a compact yet powerful AD-DA converter with an internal routing matrix. It may be a handy and powerful tool for a variety of studio, broadcast, or installed applications.

QSC's KC12 K-Column portable PA system was unveiled. Features include very light weight, small footprint, flexible height positions, and multiple input options.

Yamaha unveiled its latest generation of Rio-D3 digital stageboxes, the Rio1608-D3 and Rio3224-D3. Also announced was new V3 firmware for the DM3.

Grace Design introduced the m701 multichannel audio interface, a new modular I/O solution.
