Variety reported in an article last week that Cepa Audiovisual (Argentina) is teaming with Epicentre Films (France) to co-produce Argentinian filmmaker Julia Solomonoff's new film Nobody's Watching, which will be shooting in both New York City and Buenos Aires about 50/50 in English and Spanish .
This will mark Solomonoff's first American film, and her third film since Sisters (2005) and The Last Summer of la Boyita (2009). She had lately worked as associate producer in a number of noteworthy international co-productions, working with Viggo Mortensen in Everybody Has a Plan (2012) and Martin Scorsese in The Third Bank of the River (2014).
Solomonoff's screenplay was a winner in last year's Tribeca Festival, and the project is currently in pre-production. Guillermo Pfening has been cast in the lead. Shooting will commence in August in New York and carry on through October-November in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The release date will be presumably set for 2015.
