Telekom Slovenije Receives the SPORTO Award Ljubljana, 27 November Telekom Slovenije received the SPORTO award in the Best Advertisement category for this year's Olympic campaign With All Our Hearts. The award serves as recognition of the company's successful support of marketing and business goals by creating new stories and communication methods using sport as a medium, with a hefty dose of creativity and innovation along with it.

On 26 October in Portoro, the Slovenian Marketing Association (DMS) opened the SPORTO conference on marketing and sponsorship in sport by conferring awards for the best projects linking marketing and sponsorship in sports from Slovenia and the broader region. Among the 2012 SPORTO Award recipients this year was Telekom Slovenije, which most convinced the jury in the Best Advertisement category with its ad campaign With All Our Hearts. The award was received in TS's name by Samo Oina, CMO, Toma Jontes, a strategist, and Niko Kuar, head of Marketing Communications. At the same time our subsidiary TSmedia also received a SPORTO in the Best Digital Communication category, with its Planet Siol.net portal for the Tour de Slovenia.

A good 52 (11 foreign and 41 Slovenian) creative projects were on the ballot for SPORTO 2012 awards, from numerous players in the sports marketing and sponsorship field. They faced off in 5 categories, namely Best Sports Sponsorship, Best Advertisement, Best Digital Communication, Best Comprehensive Sports and Marketing Activity, and the SPORTO International Award. This year's competition for SPORTO awards was held for the first time in collaboration with the Slovenian Marketing Association.

Telekom Slovenije is thrilled about these awards, especially since its integrated and innovative approach to communicating with target groups was also confirmed by the Netko Award, which the Itak website picked up last week in the Products and Brands category. Two additional Telekom Slovenije websites were shortlisted, namely SiOL TViN in the Web Services category, and Ecoquiz in the Most Child Friendly Web Content category. The People's Vote went to the Najdi.si website, produced by Telekom Slovenije's subsidiary TSmedia. Netko is an award for excellence in communication and technology, conferred to websites and organizations since 1999 by the Association of Informatics and Telecommunications at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.
