Claro Sports relied on AEQ technology while covering Rio 2016 Claro Sports deployment included mixing systems, routing, intercom and audio encoding AEQ.
With an audience in 17 countries and a captive market of 400 million people and 380 million smartphones in Latin America, Clear Clear Sports Sport deployed during the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro a large device to produce unilateral signals from the multilateral signals delivered from OBS and provide the same to the different distribution platforms for 17 countries where America Movil obtained broadcasting rights.
Also, Claro Sports undertook to provide channels of audio commentary in Spanish language for services multilateral coverage OBS Multi-Channel Distribution Service (MDS - encryptada satellite subscription service for Broadcasters with rights) and Olympic Video Player (OVP - video player multi-platform allowing users to view video on demand and live through their mobile devices).
Claro Sports deployment included a mixing system and routing AEQ Arena y BC2000 para las se ales provenientes de las sedes donde dispon an de posiciones de comentaristas completamente equipados as como los 13 cabinas off-tube de OBS en el IBC y habilitadas para los servicios OVP de comentario en lengua espa ola. Un sistema de intercom ConeXia sobre la misma plataforma de matriz y con calidad de audio broadcast (20-20.000 Hz) asegur una coordinaci n perfecta entre todas las posiciones de comentaristas de Claro Sports en las sedes y el personal t cnico tanto en Rio como en M xico.
The local deployment had 10 user panels TP8000 series of Kroma by AEQ and 4-wire analogue interfaces for connecting a total of 42 intercom devices such as CCUs and Belt-packs and IFB analog. Also, Claro Sports installed two booths Off-Tube within its premises in the IBC to meet additional demands of commentators without having to go to the "bookable" OBS positions in the IBC. Given its flexibility and versatility combined with input and output options, the cabins were equipped with a portable AudioCodec AEQ Phoenix Alio as commentator console.

Para el control y la mezcla de los paquetes de sonido internacional entregados en formato MADI por OBS con el audio de comentarista en lengua espa ola, Claro Sports utiliz una consola digital AEQ Arena con 15 Faders motorizados y con hasta 9 p ginas. Para enlazar la Consola y la Matriz principal de Audio e Intercom ConeXia, se instal una red AoIP multi-canal de DANTE y que fue compartida por los paneles de usuario de Intercom TP8116 de tanto los controles de continuidad como los dos plat s de Claro Sports en el IBC y el estudio ubicado en el Parque Ol mpico.
Quality control was performed with a console IP Capitol in combination with Dante Virtual application installed on computers for discreet monitoring of any signal being found in multi-channel network AoIP DANTE.

Los Juegos Ol mpicos de Brasil se pudieron seguir mediante la aplicaci n m vil de Claro Sports que estaba disponible de forma gratuita en los 17 pa ses. Las transmisiones tambi n estaban disponibles para usuarios de Telef nica y AT&T as como para usuarios de televisi n abierta, privada y v deo bajo demanda de todos los pa ses de Am rica Latina en los que Claro ten a convenio, por lo que la cobertura estimada por la empresa fue de 400 millones de personas que ten an 3.000 horas de eventos disponibles. La multi-plataforma de Claro Sports, permiti al usuario acceder a los contenidos mediante la p gina de Internet, por televisi n, por la aplicaci n y por Claro V deo.
Given the importance of an international event as prestigious as the 2016 Summer Olympics, AEQ moved to the engineer Raul Moreta to attend Claro Sports during all phases of installation, operation and maintenance.
