Magyar Telekom extends contract with Telekom Veszpr m

Magyar Telekom has extended its sponsorship contract with the Telekom Veszpr m mens handball team, which won the Hungarian Cup a few weeks ago and is heading to the EHF Final4 in Cologne this week-end. According to the agreement, Telekom will support the work of the mens adult and youth teams belonging to the Veszpr m club as title sponsor for another four years, until the end of the 2025/2026 championship season.

Magyar Telekom and its predecessors have been supporting the Veszpr m mens handball club since 1997, and since 2016 Telekom has also been the title sponsor of the Veszpr m mens adult and youth teams. This cooperation has now been extended by the parties for another four years. Telekom also uses telecommunications equipment and services to help the team successfully prepare for domestic and international matches. The company will provide Wi-Fi service at the home turf of the team, in the Veszpr m Arena.

Tibor R kasi, CEO of Magyar Telekom, said in connection with the cooperation: We are proud that we have stood by the team for no less than a quarter of a century now, as the most loyal supporter of Telekom Veszpr m, which is not only one of the most successful in Hungary - it won the Hungarian Cup again this year - but also gained a foothold in international sports over the years. The club has an extremely dedicated fan base, and with our digital solutions we will try to add to their fan experience in the years to come. We hope that we will be able to help Telekom Veszpr m achieve significant success as the title sponsor for the next four years.
