IBC 2026: LiveU To Exhibit With LU900Q, Sony Integration, EcoSystem Expansion

LiveU will exhibit at IBC 2026 (Stand 7.C24), showcasing the LU900Q Intelligent Production Unit, expanded Sony collaboration, and additions to its open IP-video EcoSystem. The company notes it has more than 1,500 units supporting FIFA World Cup 2026 coverage across 16 host cities.

LU900Q

The LU900Q supports multi-camera workflows with LiveU IQ (LIQ) AI-driven connectivity, advanced eSIM technology, 5G modems, and a MIMO antenna array. It supports SDI, HDMI, USB, and IP camera input with HD/4K transmission, 10-bit HDR 4:2:2 encoding, up to 32 audio channels, dual video return, dual intercom with built-in Bluetooth audio, and wireless file transfer.

Sony Collaboration

IBC2026 will feature the LiveU TX1, a compact camera-mounted unit for Sony's professional camera range, and the Sony RXS Connection License enabling direct file transfer from compatible Sony cameras to the PWA-RXS solution via supported LiveU field units including the LU300S.

EcoSystem Additions

Cuez joins as the latest EcoSystem partner, extending workflow automation into cloud-based newsroom and rundown management. LiveU is also participating in the EBU's working group advancing the MXL shared-memory architecture for multi-application video access.

LiveU Nexus and Studio

LiveU Nexus converts, normalizes, and routes feeds across LRT, SRT, and RTMP, integrating digital sources including Zoom, Teams, and YouTube with broadcast operations. LiveU Studio is a cloud-native production service for video switching, audio mixing, graphics, and multi-output delivery.

LiveU Ingest

A story-centric workflow platform for live and file-based content, covering planning, scheduling, ingest, and metadata enrichment from a single interface.

Actus X

Actus Digital, a LiveU company, will showcase Actus X, a browser-based platform combining compliance logging, sub-second multiviewing, QA monitoring, clip creation, and AI-powered media intelligence.
