MaZulu fumes at Khanyo and Mzwandile for not telling the family that Sakhile was out of solitary. Meanwhile, the corrupt guard and Sakhile agree on a plan to poison Zithulele. Later, Fikile is kidnapped by an unknown person.

Next on Imbewu The family learns that Zithulele has been saved, but are deeply worried about his safety. MaZulu believes Mzwandile is protecting Sakhile by failing to identify the anonymous caller. Sakhile is angry that his plan failed, and that Mzwandile is the one who betrayed him.
