Graphic Image Technologies (GIT), a distributor of quality broadcast solutions to the South African market, will be showcasing the latest broadcast technology at MediaTech 2015 between 15 and 17 July 2015, hosted at the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg. GIT will be providing live demonstrations of their latest solutions including Harmonic, Actus, TVU and Playbox.

GIT will be launching the latest Harmonic ZiXi software, TVU and Actus solutions:

Harmonic ZiXi software enables the delivery of broadcast-quality High Definition (HD) video over the Internet and mobile networks to any device. These solutions deliver a rich user experience while drastically reducing bandwidth and transmission costs. Furthermore, this technology delivers live, on-demand, interactive and play-out HD video as well as multimedia file transfers at the highest video quality with low latency and no jitters.

TVU solutions assist with the transformation of broadcaster s SDI-based operations including acquisition, transmission, routing, distribution and management to an IP-based infrastructure. TVUPack, an IP video solution, is changing the way the broadcast industry works. TVUPack uses any combination of cellular, satellite, microwave, Wi-Fi and Ethernet IP connections to delivery HD video from practically any location.

Actus provides is an industry standard, user-friendly video monitoring and logging solution that records, stores and indexes broadcast content from any input, any number of channels while offering simultaneous 24/7 access to content.
