Former Scandal! actress, Lusanda Mbane, who played the role of Boniswa Langa for half a decade has returned to soapville.

Mbane, recently joined Imbewu: The Seed to play the role of Makhosazana after taking a break from TV for three months.

IMBEWU'S' MAKHOSAZANA VERSUS SCANDAL!'S' BONISWA The actress told Drum Magazine that she left Scandal! to work on her business, Zazi Zithande Zithembe, and was elated to be back on our small screens.

Playing Makhosazana is the return I never expected. She has had me hit the ground running.

I played Boniswa for years and after letting go of the role, I had to mourn her.

Makhosazana has been a great welcome back to the screen character for me.

She tells the publication that she's been playing Makhosazana for five weeks and can already tell viewers that she's fallen in love with her.

Makhosazana like Boniswa has no limits and has already made her go to places she never thought she would ever be made to go for a character.

Mbane adds that her latest character makes her feel anxious and has her thinking about what her children and family are going to say when they see her.

The actress says the biggest difference between her Imbewu role and Scandal! role is that Boniswa had children and that often anchored her somehow.

Makhosazana akana nja akana kati (she has no cat or dog or family) and so she will do anything she needs to do without any limits.

MAKHOSAZANA ENDS MENZI'S LIFE Fans of the actress predicted that she'll play a villain role when she joined the e.tv soapie and they were spot on.

Mbane states that Makhosazana is a blast from the past for Menzi Vilakazi ( Muzi Mthabela) in the interview.

The TVSA December teasers reveal that Mbane's character is going to kill Menzi Vilakazi towards the end of the year.

Seasoned actor, Muzi Mthabela, who just exited Imbewu: The Seed recently joined SABC 1's popular soapie, Generations: The Legacy.

Sources close to the actor revealed that he quit his role after he became frustrated with his Casanova role.

The teasers also state that MaZulu (Leleti Khumalo) will learn on Friday, 10 December that Makhosazana and Menzi are an item.

This means that Menzi is two-timing his current girlfriend, Nirupa (Jailoshini Naidoo), who he's been dating for several months.

Menzi is also cheating on his wife, Violet (Xoli Zondi-Zamisa ) with Nirupa who has no idea that he's still married.

Makhosazana will hire men to kidnap and torture Menzi on Friday, 23 December and kill him on Monday, 27 December.
