OOONA, a global provider of professional management and production tools for the localization industry, announces that GOSUB has signed a long-term agreement to offer training courses on OOONA Toolkit. Based in Spain, GOSUB offers online courses in subtitling and closed captioning.
The OOONA Toolkit is a simple and intuitive, web-based program, comments GOSUB founder Kelly ODonovan. It includes a wide range of tools for the creation, translation, editing, conversion and burning of closed captions and subtitles, used by many localization service providers around the world. We are continually impressed with the new features that OOONA Toolkit brings out. We will be offering online training in each element of the OOONA platform, showing by practical example how to make efficient use of the tools.
It is great to have GOSUB on board, adds OOONA Product Manager Alex Yoffe. Our solutions are inherently easy to operate but GOSUB offers its students additional guidance about the broadcast structure within which the media localization business operates. Kelly and her colleagues make effective use of IP-connected tuition which is the logical model for this industry, allowing media professionals to work from practically any location.
