MSG Networks will air a sports-betting-focused simulcast of the New York Rangers game against the St. Louis Blues tonight. It will mark the first time the network produces such a simulcast of an NHL game. The broadcaster has aired eight BetCasts of New York Knicks games (five last season, three so far this season), but tonight's game marks the first NHL game to get the sports-betting-simulcast treatment. The BetCast will air tonight at 7 p.m. on MSGSN, alongside the traditional Rangers telecast on MSG.

MSG Networks has already produced eight total BetCasts for Knicks games, but tonight will be its first NHL effort.

Behind the scenes, a dedicated production crew will be located in a separate control room tonight. On the alternative telecast, Rangers reporter Michelle Gingras, former Rangers and Devils center and two-time Stanley Cup Champion Scott Gomez, and sports-betting hosts Alex Monaco and Sean Little will analyze the play on the ice from a sports-betting perspective. The team will analyze the game through a sports-betting lens, including spread and player props, and will provide in-game updates to the odds and lines throughout the night.

Between the Knicks and the Rangers, MSG Networks' schedule will offer a total of 12 BetCasts this season. The network launched the BetCast during the 2021-22 NBA season, offering the simulcast for five Knicks games.

MSG Networks will integrate DraftKings odds into the BetCasts, highlighting on the air specific bets and parlays available for viewers exclusively within the DraftKings Sportsbook app. The simulcasts are also expected to include appearances by various on-air personalities from DraftKings.

Other regional sports networks, including NBC Sports Chicago and NBC Sports Philadelphia, also have opted to roll out BetCasts for live coverage this season, and the trend continues to grow across the RSN landscape.
