SGT and Active Circle enter OEM agreement Active Circle archive management technology will be integrated in SGT's VEDA product line.

SGT and Active Circle have finalised an OEM agreement that enables SGT to complete its workflow by adding archive management as a new module in its VEDA suite of broadcast applications. SGT is a leading European software vendor in the broadcast and media industry, and Active Circle is a developer of advanced archiving and storage solutions for digital content.

Over the last 20 years, SGT has built the most comprehensive range of software in the broadcast industry, based on two main product lines: Media Management and Transmission Management. Customer needs have evolved towards workflow automation, rich-media content management and new distribution channels such as the Internet or mobile phones. In line with this SGT has evolved its product lines by merging them into the VEDA range: a single, seamless and modular end-to-end suite, based on a service-oriented architecture.
