Rotolight Appoint New UK Cine & Broadcast Sales Manager

We're delighted that our CEO, Rod Aaron Gammons, has been nominated for the People's Choice Award after being awarded the regional title of Entrepreneur Icon of the Year, and we'd appreciate it if you could support us with your vote!

Graduating with distinction from Henley Business School after pursuing an Executive MBA, Rod has been overseeing the business since its inception. On a day-to-day basis, Rod Aaron drives the strategic and marketing direction of the business. He is a passionate photographer, and also sits on the investment committee of Henley Business Angels, an initiative to support, advise and fund start-ups from within the Henley Business School community.

In February 2019, we secured significant funding to support our expansion plans; starting with £5 million in growth capital from Octopus Investments, followed by an additional round of equity investment later that year.

The investment has provided us with the means to expand our expansive IP portfolio of over 50 trademarks and designs. This commenced with the launch of the groundbreaking Titan X2 in September 2019; our revolutionary 2 1 soft light that redefined cinematic lighting. The Titan X2 has quickly become a favourite of DoPs and gaffers globally and introduced industry-first technology to the world, including SmartSoft electronic diffusion technology. Rod continues to lead Rotolight in bringing innovative products to market; driving the company to be a gamechanger in the industry.
