Palo Alto, CA, June 16, 2016 HP Inc. today unveiled its next generation DeskJet All-in-One (AiO) printer, the ideal device for the style savvy, always connected consumer. Designed for digital natives who want to print from Facebook, Instagram and more, the HP DeskJet 3700 is half the size of other inkjet all-in-one printers in its class 1, yet combines robust print, scan and copy capabilities all for $69.99. 2
Recently named one of TIME Magazine's 50 Most Influential Gadgets of All Time, this redesigned DeskJet comes HP Instant Ink-ready and offers the easiest printing from a smartphone or tablet. The HP DeskJet 3700 does not just optimize space, it energizes space with a variety of vivid color hues ranging from Electric Blue to Sea Grass Green and Stone. Consumers crave tiny, wireless devices that fit into their lifestyle and enable them to stay connected, social and productive wherever they may be, said Sue Richards, general manager and vice president, HP Consumer Printing. HP's new DeskJet turns the traditional consumer printing experience on its head with its innovative, fun design and intuitive mobile connectivity from virtually any device or social network.
Phone to Print Seamlessly
Setting up and printing directly from a mobile device has never been easier with the HP All-in-One Remote mobile application 3. The free app provides users with key features including printing, copying and scanning wirelessly from most smartphones and tablets including Apple , Android and Windows devices. Using Wi-Fi Direct4, consumers can immediately begin printing from their mobile devices and access their printer without a network.
Consumers can print, share and design custom photos from Facebook, Instagram and Flickr or directly from a phone's camera roll with the free HP Social Media Snapshots application. HP also offers fun 4x5 sticky photo paper tailored just for the Social Media Snapshots app and perfect for decorating a bedroom, locker or sharing with family and friends. Using HP Printbot, Facebook Messenger users can print content effortlessly from a Facebook Messenger conversation. In addition to easily printing photos and documents, the bot allows users to add printers, print from the printers history, and order replacement supplies.
Eliminate Ink Anxiety
With HP Instant Ink, customers can get an ink subscription plan for as low as $2.99 per month shipped to their door at no extra cost, saving up to 50 percent on ink5 and eliminating the anxiety of running out of ink at the worst time. HP Instant Ink includes three flexible plans and allows users to change or cancel online at any time 6 without an annual fee.
The HP DeskJet 3700 is environmentally responsible with low energy use. Recycling used ink cartridges is simple and free using the HP Planet Partners prepaid envelopes provided with the HP Instant Ink service.
The new, colorful DeskJet 3700 will be available later this month at select retailers.
