Rotolight ANOVA Totally Flicker Free Technology!

The video captured at upto 1800fps (frames per second) with absolutely no flicker!

Rotolight Anova has been extensively tested by Phantom Cameras at all settings up to 7000 fps with no flicker detected at all due to Anova's unique constant current dimming control system! (Tested with the Phantom Micro at 1000fps,1500fps(1920 1080) ,2000, and 7000 fps(640 x 480) with no flicker detected at all due to Anova's unique constant current dimming control system! During the test, the Phantom cameras were also tested with several major brands of hot light that flickered at 2000 fps under testings. In comparison the Rotolight Anova was tested at every setting up to 7000 fps with no flicker whatsoever.

Whereas many other LED lights on the market advertise themselves as being a continuous light source', all other LED lights on the market currently utilise a process known as Pulse Width Modulation' (PWM) which means that the light is not continuous, but is in fact continuously flashing' at rates not visible to the human eye. Video and Photographic cameras can see this high speed PWM flashing and, when operating at higher frame rates and shorter exposure times such as with the Phantom camera, this can result in black frames rendering the video or photo useless. PWM can also produce unwanted strobing when used in combination with other AC lighting. The Rotolight Anova does not utilise PWM at any brightness level but uses a special DC current control dimming system, making it the only true professional LED lighting source that can be used with all higher speed cameras and shorter exposure times on stills cameras, enabling seamless integration into any existing Studio.
