Samsung SMART Camera and Getty Images Launch Industry Leading Global Partnership on Jan 27, 2014 Together Samsung and Getty Images will provide unique tools and innovative platforms that connect the world through photography
Samsung Electronics and the global digital media company Getty Images, today announced a new partnership at the annual Samsung European Forum. Samsung and Getty Images have joined forces with the single-minded ambition to help people across the world share their stories through the power of photography.
Partnering with an iconic brand like Getty Images is an ideal endeavour for Samsung. Getty Images is the perfect partner to allow our customers to share their individual stories from across the world, faster and through better quality images than ever before, said Stephen Taylor, Vice President Brand and Retail, Samsung Electronics Europe. Through this partnership, we hope to empower a generation of aspiring photographers to take their ambition to new heights.
The partnership will bring together the unique capabilities and expertise of Samsung and Getty Images to drive forward connected photography for the benefit of our customers. As part of this agenda, the agreement will see a commitment to the creation of bespoke content, starting with the launch of the Samsung Collection now available on gettyimages.com (http://www.gettyimages.com/editorial/frontdoor/samsung).
The Samsung Collection is a selection of premium editorial content shot by Getty Images' top photographers using the Samsung SMART Camera NX. Samsung and Getty Images will also empower consumers to become future contributors to the Samsung Collection using the NX system.
