It's uBaba's birthday: Twitter reacts to Jacob Zuma turning 77

Jacob Zuma's wife, Tobeka Madiba Zuma, wished him a happy birthday on Instagram by sharing an adorable photo to her Highlights.

Retirement is treating him well and his 2019 birthday should be faring somewhat better than when he was still in office.

Of course, Twitter will also remind you that it is Zuma's birthday today by unleashing a barrage of colourful balloons when you visit his Twitter profile.

While thousands of netizens took to Twitter to congratulate Zuma on his 77th birthday, the sentiment wasn't shared by everyone.

A user known only as Griffin said, It is Jacob Zuma's birthday and he is not in jail. South Africa has no balls, while another user added:

In case you are scared to wish Jacob Zuma a happy birthday on the probability that he will use it to get the ANC to give him another billion of our tax money you can wish the Teenage Ninja Turtles a happy prerequisite existence day.

We love Zuma as a person not as a President. He was terrible at his job.
