Look Original s Film A Face in the Crowd Opens in Washington, DC

Look Original is very proud to announce that the short film Look Original produced with contemporary California photographer, Alex Prager, is to premiere at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, DC tonight. The film is included in the exhibit Alex Prager: A Face in the Crowd, which runs from November 23, 2013 through March 9, 2014.

Look Original co-produced the film and their sister company, LOOK Effects, created all the visual effects for Prager's film, which is her third short. Look Original has been involved with all three of Ms. Prager's film productions.

Look Original congratulates Alex for her exhibit at the prestigious Corcoran Gallery, says Henrik Fett, President of Look Original and Executive Producer on the film. It has been a great pleasure to be involved with her on, not only A Face in the Crowd,' but her previous films. Alex is a great talent and we are thrilled to work with her to bring her unique vision to the screen.

The exhibit features large-scale photographs of people assembled in congested public spaces, such as an airport terminal, lobby, beach, and movie theater and is the artists most ambitious and complex series to date. The stories of the various characters within these crowds culminate in the new film, featuring actress Elizabeth Banks. Together, the film and the photographs uphold a portrait of the individual within the complexity of the larger crowd.

Fett and Look Original co-produced Prager's first short film, Despair, which was featured in the Museum of Modern Art's 2010 photography exhibit, New Photography 2010 as well as her second film La Petite Mort.
