El Cl sico is one of the sporting events with the greatest television coverage and impact throughout the world. MEDIAPRO is in charge of the production and distribution of the international signal for a potential audience of 650 million viewers. Saturday 25th October saw the first ever Cl sico played with COVID and to guarantee safety in a sporting event of such magnitude, the MEDIAPRO Group together with LaLiga, has established a safety plan to guarantee that the 400 professionals working in Outside Broadcast Units, TV Compound and inside the stadium, can do their job safely and without risk.

Among the main prevention measures is the provision of preventive equipment available in the Outside Broadcast Units and an area reserved for the personal belongings of the professionals before entering the TV Compound and stadium, taking of temperatures of the people participating in the production, the use of protection equipment and conducting more than 150 rapid tests for professionals entering the stadium. Among the mandatory protective equipment are gloves, bibs, face shields and the more than 400 masks that have been distributed among the different professionals.
