OTT and ABR on show; Imagine CTO to speak in opening keynote session

In an event which focuses on connectivity and the convergence between media, telcos and ISPs, Imagine Communications is featuring its TV Everywhere portfolio, demonstrating how complete, highly-functional and operationally-efficient solutions can distribute content to any platform.

The portfolio includes solutions with the ability to transcode to multiple resolutions, formats and streams simultaneously. On display will be the Selenio solutions for adaptive bitrate (ABR) transcoding, including the SelenioNext high-density solution for bulk content providers and CDNs, and the SelenioFlex Live low density solution for content owners and broadcasters. Imagine Communications works in conjunction with Minerva, a leading provider of service and subscriber management tools, to create complete OTT and IPTV platforms.

Steve Reynolds, CTO of Imagine Communications, will take part in the opening keynote session of the IBC Content Everywhere MENA conference on Tuesday 20 January 2015. He will speak on the way that broadcasting is migrating rapidly towards IP technologies, and how this is a perfect fit for the move to media over multiple platforms, and TV everywhere.
