Limpopo music sensation Makhadzi has been rumoured to have been detained in Botswana after she allegedly failed to keep to her promise and show up at an event.

According to MDM News on Twitter, [Makhadzi] is currently [detained] by court sheriff in Moshupa. According to sources the Mbewe Legal Practice and Hirshfield won't let her leave Botswana until she pays a Maun promoter for a show she missed. The High-court of Botswana has instructed that she pays P700k+ or be sent straight to prison .

The singer took to her Facebook page to address the allegations and said, I can see allegations of me being arrested

, to all my fans please stop entertaining the lies , no Police came to arrest me and I haven't received any papers. I am safe and free as i am speaking now, I AM eating my Christmas at rehearsals room , preparing for my show for tomorrow 26 DECEMBER at GIYANI STADIUM
