ViaLite Communications parent company PPM been awarded the Investors in People Gold standard

ANOTHER UK GOLD!

ViaLite Communications' parent company, Pulse Power and Measurement Ltd (PPM), has been awarded the Investors in People Gold standard. PPM joins the top 14% of accredited organisations across the UK who believe in realising the potential of their people.

Swindon-based PPM consists of four business divisions: ViaLite Communications - an international RF over fibre manufacturer, PPM Power - a distributor of pulse power systems and power electronics components; PPM Test - an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test equipment manufacturer; and PPM Systems - a manufacturer and distributor of antennas and RF over fibre systems for use by the military.

Investors in People is the UKs leading accreditation for business improvement through people management, and provides a wealth of resources for businesses to innovate, improve and grow, with a focus on good people making great business.

Brief history

Pulse Power and Measurement Ltd (PPM) was founded in 1994 as a distributor of pulse power systems, power electronics components and EMC test equipment. In 1995, PPM began to manufacture RF over fibre equipment following the purchase of Electro Optic Developments Ltd and then, in 2001, PPM launched an RF over fibre platform designed for RF communications. The product ranges are now split across PPM's four business units: PPM Power, ViaLite Communications, PPM Test and PPM Systems.
