Technicolor Racks Up 6 Primetime Emmy Nominations

This year Technicolor Sound received four Emmy nominations, and Mr. X received two nominations for their VFX work.

In addition to Technicolor Sound's multiple recognitions, other Technicolor teams worked on numerous nominated shows. Making A Murder, handled by Technicolor's picture team, received multiple nominations including Outstanding Directing For A Nonfiction Program. Veep, also handled by the picture team including extensive work from the VFX teams at Technicolor, received multiple nominations including Outstanding Directing For A Comedy Series. Technicolor Marketing Services worked on What Happened, Miss Simone?, a nominee in the Outstanding Directing For A Nonfiction Program category. On-Location Services worked on the HBO show All The Way, which is up for Outstanding Directing In A Limited Series, Movie, Or Dramatic Special. Technicolor Toronto handled picture post and VFX for Fargo, which was nominated for 18 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Cinematography for a Limited Series or Movie as well as color finishing for The Man in the High Castle The New World which is nominated for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series.
