Gearhouse Broadcast USA appoints Clayton Packard as Sales Director posted: 07/05/2019
Industry veteran to continue focus on continued business growth in North America
Gearhouse Broadcast USA, the Gravity Media-owned supplier of technical facilities, crew and services used to capture the world's most watched content, has appointed Clayton Packard as Sales Director. Based at its Los Angeles, CA facility, Clayton will be responsible for marketing the business's extensive resources throughout North America.
Clayton's main focus will be to continue the impressive growth of Gearhouse's production origination offerings which include mobile, fly-pack and rental facilities across a variety of production workflows. He will be involved in the development of live production platforms that cover sports, news and event applications. In addition, Clayton will drive the packaging of projects where all below the line elements can be bundled, thanks to Gearhouse's extensive range of services offered, to deliver operational and cost efficiencies.
With considerable experience of sales, management, operations, programming and production within the television market, Clayton will look to build long-term customer relations and increase revenue within the region. He joins Gearhouse from PSSI Global's Strategic Television video transport and project management business, where he was VP Sales. There he worked with primary broadcast, cable and digital networks, as well as independent producers and programming providers, both domestically and internationally.
He has also worked as an Account Executive for KTTV and Wold Communications, later becoming Executive in charge of Production for the Prime Ticket Regional Sports Network. Clayton then moved on to be General Manager at Fox Sports Northwest and assisted the NBA's Sacramento Kings as in-house Manager for Maloof Sports & Entertainment, where he worked to develop a northern California sports network for Comcast, which is now part of the NBC Sports Regional Network Group family.
