ONSIGHTs high-flying Mistika Colourist David Gonzalez Lozano is Selected for Broadcasts 0 Hot Shots

SGO congratulates ONSIGHT on yet another of its talented Mistika Colourists and Online Editors, David Gonzalez Lozano being selected for the sought-after Broadcasts Hot Shot recognition awards. David was chosen as one of the Broadcast 2013 Hot Shots this month, as nominated by the team at ONSIGHT. It is an accolade that reflects the acknowledgement and recognition from the industrys most prominent platforms of the professionalism ONSIGHTs post production team in Soho expounds. ONSIGHTs Mistika Colourist Andy Lee made the Broadcast Hot 100 last year as well.

David Gonzalez Lozano 28 - Colourist and Online Editor, ONSIGHT

Following the colour grade of First, The Official Film of the London 2012 Olympic Games, Director Caroline Rowland praised David for having the rare ability to translate verbal descriptions into cinematic light and shade.

Cutting his teeth as a Mistika Operator in Spain, Davids tenacity for post brought him to London, where he has gone from Operator to one of ONSIGHTs leading Colourists and Online Editors - with the BBCs first 3D scripted drama, Mr Stink, under his belt, plus two of Skys Little Crackers.

He is also well versed in natural history - working on David Attenboroughs Micro Monsters 3D and Kingdom of Plants 3D for Sky, demonstrating his ability to correct 3D macro photography with a high degree of precision and expertise. ONSIGHT Chief Operating Officer Andy Shelley says: He seems to welcome a challenge, taking technically complex projects in his stride.
