Broadcast Pix Offers New Sports Production March Mayhem' Bundles Promotion
Billerica, Massachusetts March 2, 2015 Broadcast Pix today announced its March Mayhem promotion, which offers up to $6,000 in savings for sports bundles that include a Granite integrated production switcher and ReVue slow motion replay system.
Our March Mayhem promotion provides great value for broadcasters and colleges that want to upgrade their live sports productions, said Steve Ellis, CEO of Broadcast Pix. ReVue is an affordable way to add slo-mo from multiple cameras, and the Fluent Control production tools included in every switcher make it easier to produce great live television.
During the March Mayhem promotion, customers save $6,000 off the bundled MSRP price of a Granite X with 6000 control panel and ReVue. Other discounts include ReVue bundled with a Granite X 5000 ($5,000) and Granite X 2000 ($4,000). Discounts are also available on other Granite and Mica integrated production switchers bundled with Revue.
All systems sold during the promotion include an 18-month warranty at no additional charge. Also in March, camera control software and the PixPlay software option, which provides slo-mo control to select Blackmagic Design and AJA Video Systems disk recorders, are free for Mica and Flint integrated production switchers bundled with a Broadcast Pix 500, 1000, or 2000 control panel.
Available in two and four-channel configurations, ReVue features SDI connectivity and up to eight tracks of embedded audio, with optional 1080p recording and playback. Developed in collaboration with strategic partner EditShare, ReVue is housed in a 2 RU chassis and includes 8 TB of RAID 6 storage, which can be expanded up to 32 TB. Its intuitive controller includes a jog/shuttle wheel for reviewing footage, plus dedicated buttons for marking in and out points for playback. An on-screen user interface makes it easy to keep track of marked clips and replays, and Broadcast Pix integrated production switchers can trigger ReVue playlists.
