Hybrid Debuts New Virtual Studio Tracking Solution, Plutonium at NABShow05

(04/04/2015) New for NAB 2015, Hybrid TV introduces Plutonium, the new version of Hybrid's signature tracking system. Plutonium, named from the chart of periodic tables, is the tracking solution and joins Neon, the trackless solution for Virtual Studios.

Plutonium combines added power and precision to bring real-time, precise camera motion within 2D or 3D computer-generated backgrounds. It relies on the strength and all features of Krypton, Hybrid's real-time graphic rendering engine.

The true superiority of Plutonium rests in its remarkable Zero Delay system, said Yann Brosse, CTO of Hybrid France. With other systems, you will see a fair amount of lip flap which only confuses viewers. Not with Plutonium.

When employing Plutonium and Hybrid's Robotic Tracking System, there is an absence of video and audio delays. Hybrid provides a set of tools for calibration, the most accurate and flexible, which becomes critical during set up and live production.

Tight integration between real and virtual cameras provides the precision that Hybrid delivers. From hand-held, XYZ movements to PTZF. Hybrid employs an open scalable solution for tracking virtual reality. Additionally, this flexible production workflow integrates seamlessly with automation and vision mixers and has multiple Inputs / Outputs.
