New software for Enterprise sQ provides benefits throughout the workflow and adds new web-based workflows between sites Quantel announced today that it is releasing new software for its Enterprise sQ news and sports production system which will provide system-wide improvements for users and system administrators. The new software also enables a brand new application for multi-site users with the introduction of the InterSite-enabled QTube Browser.

The InterSite-enabled QTube Browser enables anyone to view, select and combine clips from different sites and publish the result to any chosen site. Theres no waiting - users can even view and work with clips as they are being recorded. This revolutionary development delivers on the benefits of distributed workflows, making media exploitable wherever it or the users are - resulting in more compelling content that wins and keeps audiences. Also included with the InterSite Browser is a stills grabbing capability - great for quickly populating web pages.

Editors using sQ Edit and Qube gain many useful, productive new features. These include: audio support in multi-layer effects - making craft editing faster and more accurate; improved text editing - more flexibility when laying out text; Flow Motion - advanced slo-mo capabilities; Mocha Tracker homography - the ability to track an object and pin the tracking data onto a shape that is changing over time; blank frame indicator - ensuring that blank frames dont go to air.

File handling has also been boosted with XAVC support, AVCHD soft mount and support for the latest Sony and RED cameras via new SDKs.

The Marco field editor gains video input support via the AJA IoXT.

V5.3 rev 10 software will be released later this month, and is available to all Enterprise sQ users running V5 software.
