Gravel Road is thrilled to announce the acquisition of this years Oscar(r) winning film, Parasite. Rights are for all-media, excluding theatrical, for Southern Africa. Parasite is written and directed by Bong Joon Ho and follows a poor family as they con their way into working for a rich family but soon find out that their lies and deception may be exposed.
In 2019 the film won the coveted Palm dOr at the Cannes Film Festival, and this year made history as the first South Korean film to take home the Oscar for Best Motion Picture of the Year. The film also won Best International Feature Film and director Bong Joon Ho bagged Best Achievement in Directing as well as Best Original Screenplay together with Jin Won Han.
