Para construir la tensi n y el realismo de la historia, la obra presenta desde escenarios en 3D hasta una localizaci n de escombros en un terreno en S o Paulo.
Globo presenta en la pr xima edici n de MIPTV Trece D as Lejos del Sol. Coproducida con O2 Filmes, del director Fernando Meirelles (Ciudad de Dios , El Jardinero Fiel y Ensayo sobre la Ceguera ), la miniserie es un thriller lleno de acci n, drama y suspenso en que un edificio en construcci n se derrumba y deja a un grupo de personas bajo tierra. La obra se present por primera vez al mercado internacional en la ltima Berlinale, en Alemania, en un showcase especial en que Globo mostr su nueva cosecha de series, resultado de los movimientos recientes de la empresa para invertir y mejorar aun m s la producci n de series y de otros formatos cortos de dramaturgia. La tensi n del argumento, que involucra a los personajes en una situaci n l mite provocada por una gran tragedia, se gan al p blico brasile o. La obra registr una llegada diaria promedio de 41 millones de personas durante su exhibici n en el prime time tarde de Globo. Trece D as Lejos del Sol escrita por Elena So rez y Luciano Moura, cont con la direcci n art stica de Luciano Moura.
En la historia, Selton Mello (Relaciones Peligrosas') da vida a Saulo, ambicioso ingeniero que sue a convertirse en propietario de la constructora donde trabaja. Despu s del colapso de un centro m dico en construcci n sobrefacturado por Saulo, responsable de la obra, surgen dos realidades paralelas: bajo los escombros, el propio ingeniero, la hija del principal inversor del edif cio y tambi n su exnovia y algunos obreros luchan por sobrevivir. Mientras tanto, en la superficie, se produce una conspiraci n para encontrar al culpable. En este escenario, a medida que la historia se desarrolla, se excavan los escombros, revelando secretos y el oscuro pasado de cada uno de ellos.
La producci n de Trece D as Lejos del Sol involucr a talentos de diversas reas que contribuyeron a construir la tensi n y el realismo de la historia. El edificio que se derrumba fue hecho totalmente en 3D, resaltando detalles, como los ladrillos que forman las paredes y el cemento que sostiene un ladrillo contra el otro. El recurso tambi n se us para hacer que el escenario de los escombros, despu s del derrumbe del edificio, pareciera aun m s grande. Adem s, en un estudio en S o Paulo, se construyeron los subsuelos del edificio donde las personas quedan enterradas. Con el trabajo de diferentes profesionales y mucha investigaci n, se gest la atm sfera de estos escenarios donde prevalece el color gris, adem s de la sensaci n de encierro, la falta de aire y la opresi n en un ambiente totalmente destruido y sin vida. En el lado exterior del edificio, con la ayuda de 90 camiones, se acumularon escombros en un terreno de la capital paulista. Se necesitaron 40 d as de construcci n y 75 profesionales para prepararla. Del lado exterior, la vista de esa tragedia, aunque ficticia, caus conmoci n y perplejidad entre los que pasaban por el lugar.
Para la miniserie se llev a cabo un trabajo minucioso de vestuario y maquillaje. Adem s hubo un proceso de preparaci n y ensayos con los actores en el que se dio un enfoque especial tanto a temas emocionales como de fuerza f sica, dado que parte del grupo pas algunos d as grabando y movi ndose entre desechos y escombros.
El elenco de Trece D as Lejos del Sol adem s de contar con nombres de peso como Selton Mello, Carolina Dieckmann (Preciosa Perla) y Lima Duarte (India - Una historia de amor y Roque Santero), congrega a un grupo de actores n veles en la televisi n provenientes de diferentes estados brasile os que dan vida a los obreros de la obra.
